Clinical Phlebotomist

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical laboratory technology.
• Excellent customer service skills and manual dexterity.
• Ability to efficiently complete daily blood draws while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and microsampling blood collection for adult and pediatric patients.
• Conduct bleeding times, sweat chloride, and glucose tolerance tests.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area; order supplies as needed.
• Greet patients and enter demographic and test request data into the Laboratory Information System.
• Answer telephone requests from physicians and provide patient results to healthcare providers.
• Deliver and process patient specimens for laboratory analysis.

Pay: $2,400 - $3,400 per week
