JOB TITLE: Sr. Cabinet Finisher

LOCATION: Dallas, TX

PAY RATE: $33.81/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

• Preparing, applying, and touching up finishes on aircraft furniture while ensuring compliance with design specifications.

• Overseeing projects, mentoring junior technicians, and implementing process improvements in a team-oriented environment.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 4 years of experience in wood finishing processes.

• Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing.

• Aerospace industry experience preferred.

• Proficient in interpreting material specifications and applying finishes using various methods (spray equipment, manual/mechanical).

• Ability to mentor and train less experienced technicians.

• Strong understanding of safety and process improvement techniques, including Lean Six-Sigma tools.

• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.

• Computer literacy and proficiency in English.
