Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This role will be responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on multifamily and industrial real estate acquisitions and developments. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, and experience evaluating multifamily and industrial properties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Underwriting: Develop and maintain detailed financial models in Excel to underwrite potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
  • Market Research & Due Diligence: Conduct market research to assess investment opportunities, including rent and expense comparables, cap rate trends, and supply-demand dynamics.
  • Investment Memorandums: Prepare investment memos and presentations for EBSCO’s internal investment committee.
  • Transaction Support: Assist in all phases of the acquisition process, including deal structuring, financing, and closing.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor asset performance, prepare quarterly reports, and provide recommendations to optimize value.
  • Industry Networking: Build relationships with brokers, lenders, and other industry professionals to source and evaluate investment opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate investment, development, brokerage, private equity, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of multifamily and industrial real estate market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with real estate transaction documents, loan agreements, and leases is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real estate debt and equity structuring.
  • Knowledge of real estate investment management software (Yardi, CoStar, etc.).
