Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a Deputy Program Manager at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Program Manager (PM) in the oversight and execution of the program, ensuring that all developments, enhancements and upgrades of software or full system solutions adhere to the Government requirements.
  • Assisting the PM oversee the management and operational needs of a software development and technical support Technical Task Order totaling over $60M
  • Contribute to leading a diverse team of systems engineers, software developers, UX, and test engineers to deliver software development solutions
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
  • Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
  • Utilizing an agile product centric methodology, you will manage the development activities related to presentation and visualization capabilities, including studies, analyses, concept explorations, proofs of concepts, prototyping, and product placement within the IC product ecosystem(s).
  • Meet regularly with the customer (Prime Contractor) to ensure issues are promptly resolved, to enhance communications and establish strategic relationships
  • Conducting Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with government personal as required; ensure that TEMs address reports and products generated by the program, along with other necessary tasking and topics
  • Contribute to the overall project strategy and manage complex challenges and changes in project scope
  • Advise and provides recommendations on candidates for employment/termination, assist with conduct of performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
    technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)
  • Five (5) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Shall have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Direct experience in working alongside a program management team
  • Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms and to function effectively in a team environment
  • Experience reviewing candidates and coordinating cross-functionally to derive decisions
  • Experience with establishing, integrating, and implementing processes
  • Ability to organize, contributeto, create, and maintainclear and efficient documentation
  • Shall have PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Entry Level certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 1 certification in Program Management.
  • Experience allocating resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the contract
  • Experience reviewing and approving all earned value, Estimate to Complete, Funds and Manhour Expenditure Reports, or other financial reports as appropriate
  • Review and allocate management reserve within contractual limits
  • Ensure cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet Government needs.
  • Experience participating in integrated product teams to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
  • Experience working with the higher level program manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the contractor's effort.
  • Review and propose the Integrated Program Baseline (or resource loaded schedule) to the Government.
  • Experience reviewing risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets for the same.
  • Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government PM.
  • Ensure the timely recruitment and training of program staff, both direct and indirect
  • Review all financial and technical reports before release to the Government.
  • Communicate issues and solutions to the Government PM in a timely and transparent manner
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$160,000 - $185,000
