Job Description
- Job Title: Certification Data Analyst
- Reports to: Certification and Compliance Manager
- Role: Leading the development of outcome statements and operational reporting for Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) projects.
- Key Responsibilities: Gathering and analyzing data, maintaining outcome statements database, creating visualizations of data findings, drafting MES outcome statements, identifying problems and solutions, maintaining Operational Workbook Report (OWR) timelines, collaborating with team to create state-specific outcome statements, contributing outcome statements to Advanced Planning Documents (APDs), attending and facilitating meetings, supporting project leads and SMEs with certification questions, and attending CMS certification presentations.
- Required Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience with CMS Medicaid Enterprise Systems or federal regulations, MMIS/CMS certification, and CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process. Minimum 5 years of experience with spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, using data to improve organizations, implementing information systems in client facing role, and data visualization software. Experience with project tracking tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, MITAPulse.
- Desired Skills: 5 years of healthcare related knowledge, ideally in analytics, reporting or related, 3 years of Medicaid, MMIS, claims process or related experience.
- Methodologies: Agile, waterfall, hybrid and/or iterative implementation/SDLC methodologies.
